I just stumbled onto the Dragon Forge website and can't believe the prices. Are these knives any good? I'm always a little leary of such inexpensive knives, but they look good. Anyone have one or seen one? What did you think about the action, finish, etc?

I owned a Dragon Forge collapsible baton once. No complaints. If you want Dragon Forge blades, check out http://www.onestopknifeshop.com Greaqt guy, that Spark. Several orders, no complaints. All said and done. If you stay away from higher end stuff you will be happy with Dragon Forge. If you have already carried MT, BM and Spyderco, then you will see a cheap knife. Good luck.

Your timing could not be better.

Stay tuned to Dragon Forge guys as you are all about to see a brand new company with some really familiar names.

Stay Tuned as I have been working on this for 2 years now!

But what is the quality of the existing Dragon Forge knives (like the Crawford Rocket knockoffs on eBay)? I have a couple of CRKT Kasper Folders and I think they are GREAT value for the money; are the Dragon Forge knives anywere close to CRKT quality?

i was all excited to answer this question, but then i saw that mike had posted already.

But here is what i know. Dragon Forge is set to launch a whole new line of knives at the SHOT show 2003, but at the blade show Mike is showing off some of the companies new products, but as he says "its just a taste"

Yes the prices are quite good arent they?

in my Opinion CRKT better watch out because dragon forge is comming!

I will be looking forward to the new lines too.

BUT...

What is the quality of the EXISTING knives like the ones I referenced above, compared to CRKT (another Taiwanese mfg making custom designers' models under license)?

But he is discontinuing them prior to the relaunch of dragon forge.

Check the wowinc ebay auctions you might even find better prices.
