I am sure this has been talked about before, I don't know the answer. Are the Dragon Forge balis at 1StopKnifeShop the same Jaguars sold at Knifezilla?

The description here is aluminum handles and "high quality stainless pivot pins." Does that mean stainless steel? I have a few Jaguars from Knifezilla and I hate to say it but the pins are far from "high quality," but that seems to be typical of Jags.

The Dragon-forge web page also says life gaurantee. Is that also true with these?

I ordered the same model Jags from both of those sites, and they were identical. Pins and all.

The D-F warranty is pretty attractive though, isn't it???

Yup the warranty is sweet. In fact I know the guy who owns Dragon Forge personally. He is me!

Yes I will back up all the Dragon Forge butterflies for life. They ain't benchamde by any means but they are not bad for the dough. The pins are stainless but I am not sure as to what grade. We are trying to get a threaded hex for that pin. I will let you know when we do.
