Dragons have captured the hearts and imaginations of people since the
beginning of time. They mostly appeared to snort flames when they were
attacking some brave knight trying to rescue a beautiful maiden or to
scare villagers into worshipping them.

Dragon myths cross national and cultural borders and can still be found
in today's decorations, ornaments and the minds of free spirits.
Befriending a dragon, though, could be beneficial to gardeners with a
rodent problem or irritating neighbors.

The one Dragon Trumpet I found when I was on my trip is a true work of
art and actually can be played if you try. Be careful, though. You might
just summon a dragon with a bad attitude. The Dragon knives would be a
nice addition to a collection and would complement the Dragon Trumpet as well.

Dragon Trumpet by kathmandu Newari. The Newari are excellent farmers, merchants, as well as skilled craftsman and artists. Price $125. *SOLD* Dragon trumpet found a loving home, thank you Red Flower

Fantastic:) I think the WWII lends itself very well to being decorated. The plain Jane aesthetics really allow any artwork done to them to POP:)

Oh man, that trumpet is cool. My Dad used to play the trumpet and today is his birthday.
I gotta see if I have a credit card that I can squeeze it on too.

Yangdu, is the photo of Kami Vim Bhadur rather than Get Changa?

Thanks for your photo's of the Kami's as it is a real pleasure seeing the faces behind the blades. :)

Those are beautiful. I agree, it is also good to see the makers... to put a name and face to the amazing kukuris and knives.

LOL, Yeti hunter knives, dragon calls, er trumpets. :D

Must be hunting season in Nepal! ;)

Hope some of this stuff is around after the holidays when I have some money again.
