Hi guys! I have been thinking about getting a dragonfly 2. I can't decide if I want to get the orange plain edge or the yellow Salt SpyderEdge. I want to use it as a secondary knife, I mainly EDC my Endura 4 FFG. Which one would be more useful? I was thinking that it would be nice to have something with serrations to have with me when I carry my main plain edge knives. My concern is that the size of the blade is too small to be very useful when fully serrated. Can you guys recommend which one would be most useful? Do you think that a larger SE salt knife is better? I know that I want a one of the dragonflies now but I'm not sure if I should wait on the SpyderEdge until I get a bigger Salt series. Any opinions or recommendations will be appreciated! :)

I have a PE Salt D'Fly and I love it. It is literally maintenance free. just a quick rinse of water and there it goes back in my pocket. get Spyderco's H-1, no matter what type of knife it is, just for its simplicity

I dont have either, but I do know that people absolutely love the spyderedge with the H1 steel.

I personally just don't like serrations.

Mmm, that's a tough one. As some on here have noticed I'm a big fan of the salt knives. ;). I have the dragonfly salt in pe and the pacific salt in se. Love em both. However, if I wasn't in the ocean all the time, I would probably buy the dragonfly in vg10. I think you are looking at it the right way. You will probably appreciate the serrations more on a larger knife. If I were you I would get the orange dragonfly and the serrated pacific salt. They are both spectacular knives.
