I don't know if this is the right place to post this but please correct me if I'm wrong. Regardless, I'm in the market for a new knife (Manix 2 LW in BD-1 or Dragonfly 2 in VG-10 or H1). This will be an EDC knife, camp knife, and probably go on fishing and hunting trips. Any info would be greatly appreciated! Thank y'all!

I have both knives. For your purposes, the Manix is going to be the better choice.

Awesome! Thank you! I'm in the market for a new knife and just really can't decide between these and now I've even started considering the ZT 0566 and the 0450... I just can't decide...

Yeah, go with the Manix 2. The Dragonfly is a fine little knife, but it's very little. I liked my Dragonfly, but the handle was small enough that I could not make difficult cuts with any confidence in my grip, for office EDC it's great, for camping and fishing, I'd want the larger handle of the Manix 2.

Thank you moniker! It seems that's what most people are telling me but idk I really like the dragonfly still. I think it'd be a nice small folder but I suppose for overall use the manix would be better.

The DF2 is a nice little EDC for an office environment, but for hunting/fishing/camping, it's pretty undersized. Really different knives though, have you gotten a chance to handle them in person?

Calc, no I haven't had the opportunity yet and there are no good knife stores available for me to visit right now. I've just been watching reviews and reading.

You need both. The Manix 2 is a great camp knife, but there are some smaller chores it will not do well. So, you also need a Dragonfly, or some other small knife for those.

i agree with DocT you must have both.me i need by a rough count 175 different pocket knifes to get me thru a normal day

Haha right now I typically carry a locking knife (vic hunter, zancudo, or kershaw - emerson cqc-6k) and a vic cadet and then on my keys I have a small vic classic... I'm just trying to find a good quality knife that can handle my edc and my hobbies.
