So, my wife and I are going on vacation down in Florida, to the Hollywood and Miami areas for a long weekend. From the searches I've done, there doesn't seem to be a clear cut answer as to carrying a pocket knife down there. Any informed thoughts on carrying a non-threatening orange Spyderco Dragonfly or Case Small Texas Jack "concealed" in my pocket? I'd prefer carrying the Spyderco, but don't know how the police would think of this - tactical or pocket knife?

You should be good to go carrying either in Florida. Miami or hollywood specifically, im not 100% sure. Being small non-threatening knives though I would bet its fine.
You should be fine with the Dragonfly. Hollywood is in Broward County and is much more weapon/ knife friendly than Miami-Dade County, which has its own ordinance that bans carry of switch blades and "Bowie" type knives, among other things. A little dragonfly will be gtg in either county.
