Just picked up a Dragonfly zpd 189 and this knife is so stiff I can barely open it with one hand.I tried oiling joint,no help. This is my third Dragonfly so I know how the action should be.What should I do?

This might be obvious, but have you tried loosening the pivot, ensuring that the pivot bolt on the other end isn't spinning in place?

Have you ever taken a knife apart you'll just need some decent Torx drivers and a hair dryer to heat up the screws since they usually use a thread locker to keep them from loosening, if so I'd recommend doing so and cleaning up the insides oiling and whatnot I like to use my strop with some compound to take the burs off you'll find with a lot of production knives they only finish the externals so the inside will still be a little rough, there are videos on YouTube that can show you how it's pretty easy if you have even basic mechanical aptitude

Is it really due to a too tight pivot or a too strong lockback spring? If the latter, it will loosen up over time (I say this based on my experience with a Delica 4 ZDP-189).
