I purchased a Dragonfly Katana and it arrived today.

I examined it and found no problems.

I comes with a plain sword bag as well as a fancy one.

I don't understand why a common claim among people discussing swords is that CS katana are "too heavy." This sword is light and the balance is good.

I was planning on buying this for years, mainly because it is one of the most beautiful katana in its MSRP price range rather than for training since I already have other swords.

I was able to buy it at just a little higher a price than the Warrior Katana usually sells for.

I'll probably eventually get the tanto and wakizashi.

I had a Warrior Katana a few years ago. I thought it was a bit heavy myself, though not overly so. I see it's only two ounces heavier than the Dragonfly. Maybe I'm just not a katana guy, there's others I prefer a lot more. Maybe that's what's going on with most people who think it's a little heavy for what it is. I much prefer the balance of the gladius and their machetes.
