I picked up my Dragonfly the other day and I heard something drop. I looked in my car cup holder and the pivot screw fell out. I am not sure how that happened as I don't carry and use the knife that much. My question is, should I use some purple or blue loctite on the screw before re-installing it to be safe? If I do use the loctite all I need to do is put a drop and then tighten the screw until the blade opens smoothly then let it cure overnight? Any help would be great. thanks!

You answered your own question. Do it just as described with blue Loctite.

Torx not hex. Like most spyderco pivots its a T9. Just so your not concerned you've lost parts dragonfly a dont have washers between the scales and blade, there are however washers/spacers on each side of the outside of the scales.

May want to check this thread for how to tighten it, the pivot spins freely so you'll have to use the method described in the thread to hold it.
