Dragonfly - yes

I bought a Dragonfly (SS/serrated) yesterday, at a local store. Great knife. I had seen it previously in FRN/plainedge, and while that version had an attraction for me, it just didn't say "yes". But yesterday I dropped in to this store, (Europe Bound on King St.), and there it was - serrated, stainless handle, and a very good price ($59 CAN = ~ $2.50 US ).

This is my favourite of the small (approx. 2" blade) factory folders on the market, from what I can tell from handling some and seeing pictures of others. Price aside, this is my first choice in that category, better than: the Meerkat, the Navigator, (handled both), and from pictures (it's all I have to go on): the Mouse (tres expensive - wow), SOG Scultura, Al Mar SLB, and some others I can't recall right now.

Great little knife.

The SS Dragonfly(plain edge) is a nice little knife. The FRN never worked for me, but the stainless is just right. But if I had my choice, it would be another Pegasus. :)

Blades

I own a CF Dragonfly and, besides the different material, the blade size and shape and the overall feel of the knife is great.

marty123, was that $2.50 in U.S. dollars?? If so, you practically stole that knife. What a deal!!!:eek:

i think he meant 25.00 cause i think it's a around 1.50 can to every 1.00 us

No no no. I was joking. The rate of exchange varies. Right now, without looking it up in the paper, I would say that $59 CAN = ~ $37 US. Come on you guys!.

It was an easy mistake to make...

If marty meant $25.00, that's a hundred percent markup in Canadian currency. I didn't think the exchange rate was that bad ;)

('Course, that's before I remembered that our Northern neighbors don't just get shafted in the curency exchange department.)

marty123, I did misunderstand your post earlier. Don't take offense, none was meant. ;) I'm just used to the U.S. currency. Still, at $37 U.S., you still got a good deal, I think. :D
