Just got back from my Ashokan weekend, TIRED, hard to sleep in a bunkhouse with a snorefest going on! yikes...but ended up with a nice trade for what is called his DragonFly model, made by Louis Van Der Walt from Gold Reef City Knives in South Africa, blade is about 3 5/8" long, handle is about 4 3/8" long, nice size blade and smooth knife. The detent is very strong so you have to WANT to open this folder but then it's better than having it opening in your pocket!
Carry wise, it has a Tipup clip arrangement and the neat part of this clip, it's very trim in appearance and the screws come from inside and are threaded into the clip so there are no screw heads to run into your hand at all, very slick.
Lockup is quite solid, no blade play at all, liner hits right at the start of the tang, just the way I like them, fairly strong liner strength.
Haven't heard much about this fellow, but his work is quite nice, grind lines are very clean and edge is very thin! Cutter!!!
Blade is ATS-34.
