I recieved my first dragonfly in the mail today and I love the knife. one thing I don't like about the knife is that it's off centered when closed. I pushed the blade to the otherside and it's centered but if I open the blade and close, it's offcentered again. I tried loosening the pivot screw but it turns forever. Is there anything I can do to fix this? thanks:(

How much off center is it? Is there any blade play when open?

As long as it doesn't affect opening or closing I wouldn't worry about it. But that's just me.

There is no bladeplay locks perfectly. Not scratching the handle. I just don't like the blade offcentered. Maybe I just have to get used to it. Is this something that's common on spyderco folders? I'm thinking og getting a delica but are they offcentered too?

I just checked and my original Dfly FRN purchased in the 90s is slightly off center but I never really noticed it before. My G10 version and Dfly2 are both perfectly centered.

You might try loosening all of the scale screws and the pivot. If the pivot turns, try to hold the opposite side with you thumb while screwing the torx side.

After loosening, center the blade with one hand and tighten the pivot. After tightening the pivot, then tighten the scale screws.

I pushed very hard with my thumb on the screw while turning the screw but I can't hold the screw. It slides on my thumb. Do spyderco pit glue on the pivot screws?

Sometimes, they have thread locker on them. You can try heating the pivot by touching a soldering iron to it and then breaking it loose.
