Dragon's Fang is on her way. All of the red tape has been cleared up and Jerry is adding her final touches as we speak. He has told me she will be finished in 10 days to two weeks. So by the middle or third quarter of October I will have my sword. I'll keep you guys posted and put up some pictures when I get her.
Please Strabs this little house of cards I've built here is a delicate one. The slightest nudge might make me see the truth, that this sword never existed in the first place. LOL. For real this time... The only thing that put the project on hold was some red tape. It's gone and she is paid for. So it's gonna happen. Or at least that's what the voices in my head keep telling me.
PS. I think Nimrods Sj had to be melted down to be used in the making of my sword. Sorry about that but Jerry just needed the extra INFI.
To tell you the truth I don't know what Jerry would do if someone called up and ordered a copy of Dragon's Fang. It's a combination of design ideas from both Jerry and myself so it's not like I have a patent on the design. Though it was truely hand made by Jerry so there was no computer driven cut-out so a copy of mine may turn out to be completely different since there is no pattern to follow. Call Jerry and ask him. You'll have to wait a long time for it and she'll be expensive. But I think she is worth it since the sword has a lot of features that most swords don't like different grinds on the blade and kissaki (or tip). Jerry said he also put a flesh cutting edge on her rather than the chopping edge you usually see on Busse knives. So it's definately the kinda weapon you wanna own if you dig battle quality swords.

considering it was suposed to be in my hand in June (and the wait has had nothing to do with the Busse Combat production schedule I might add) I think I have had to endure enough torture.
Ryu, I was thinking about ordering a custom Busse knife made to my own specs - but I was concerned about delays because I remembered seeing the pics of your Dragon Fang months and months ago...
If you are saying that the delay in your sword had nothing to do with Busse Combat and production delays - why then was it so late ?
Well since it has been months gone by I supose I can share some of the details with you guys. I bought Dragon's Fang through Sharper Instinct. Andy was whom I sent my money to when paying for Dragon's Fang. SI was holding my money until the sword was finished. Well SI and Busse Combat ended their business relationship before my sword was done. SI had to refund all of it's Busse Customers money. I told the Andy ( who was and still is a loved friend of mine so let's not start any finger pointing) to refund everyone elses money before me since the amount of money I had tied up in Dragons Fang could have refunded the knife payments of so many other SI Customers. So we worked it out. Unfortunately since SI was holding my money in the first place Jerry and company had never really recieved a payment and therefore could not send me the sword. So since the money wasn't there and I didn't have enough to cover it on my own (since this was a project I saved up for a long time) Dragon's Fang had to be put on hold. As of now I have the cash to pay the sword off and Jerry is putting the final touches on her. So there is the story. Jerry has been super fast on this sword the delay was not his fault. trust me guys you will have to wait for a custom piece but mine was a special deal. You won't have to wait as long as I have. If you got a custom idea call Jerry and talk about it. You won't regret it. And as far as Sharper Instinct goes I asked to be refunded last so that all of you guys with after shock bolos and such could be paid back first. The needs of the many outway the needs of the few or the one right. Besides if Dragon's Fang can't stand for honor among friends what good is she?
