Enjoy!!!

step 5 - get caught in the rain.

I want to see this vs. a nut still in the husk. anyone in HI with an AK or ruck?

I can't believe I just witnessed some one using a Dragon's Fang............ I never thought I would see that! More power to you man! I bet people all over are cringing in horror (but we all secretly want to do it).

And a question, isn't the Dragon's fang 1/4 or 5/16's thick? Thicker than the AK right?

Believe it or not the dragons fang has always been a user. Part of the reason that it did not slice the coconut in half on the first try is that it is relatively dull compared to some of the other knives I have.(the other reason is operator error:)) Sharpening that beast is a job that I am not prepared for.

I have posted some side by side shots of the DF next to the AK and the FFBM

Enjoy!

gusthefish, thanks for posting that photo. How do you like the finger groves on the DF compared to the smooth front of the AK handle?

 ... ...

Very brave to take that one out and beat on her.

Curious about the how the finger grooves worked for you as well.

That poor lil' coconut didn't stand a chance. :p

Thanks for the pics!

Thanks for the side by side pic...that DF is one sweet piece of INFI. One more to add to my wish list!!

Ahh you knew what you were in for and came appropriately armed.

I was almost bested by a coconut a month ago. I had never opened one myself (in my defence im a mere 25 years old). I thought how tough could it be... I tried my pocket knife (I was trying to gouge a whole in it to get the milk out, i didnt know about the eylets yet, and it said it was "precracked" which was an indent along the middle) then a kitchen knife, tried with a GW, then a drill with a masonary bit, then finally a nail worked; then to crack it i tried a hammer, then a Demo hammer, then the GW again, I thought about getting out my p229, but opted for a try at it with my swamp rat chopper...

That got it done. I have since learned that everybody knows that you drain it through the eyelids on it and that everybody knows they are quite hard...

Owning one of these and not using it is like marrying a super model for her cooking. I'm also curious about the grip during use.

I actually had to think about it and carry it around-

The finger grooves make grip is firmer, but quite a bit slimmer than the AK. I know the finger grooves are not everyones style, but they work really well on the DF.

It makes for a light balanced feel and even an oaf like me can swing it fast and somewhat controlled.

It is hard to compare the AK to the DF because of the huge size difference, but the Dragons Fang is nice to carry and swing

Hard to describe but is made out of 100% awesome:)

I'll bet it is made out of 100% awesome. How many were produced? Or is it a one off?

I consider it one of my Holy Grail Busse's I can't think of another Busse that has more Infi in it!

Some one needs to try and order a No Daichi sized sword from the Custom shop (obviously some one rich). A 6 foot long over all length massive two hander.

Or a super huge ceremonial wall hanger (for those super rich who want to show off just how much Infi can be in a single blade)

I think that Gus's Dragons Fang is the one and only! Now here is a guy that is not afraid to use a rare and expensive piece of INFI
