Just finished this biggun up. 11" blade, 16" OAL. Stock removal. 3/16s thick. Stacked leather handle. Hammered mild steel guard and butt plate. Hope you like her!

That's a cool piece Andy. I really like how the blade flows into the handle. I have an appreciation for the hammered guard and pommel as well. It makes me want to go out and tear into a mess of wood. Great job! The client is going to be very happy.

I'm glad you like it. :)

I use used, new rasps I get from our farrier (does that make sense?). They are Heller rasps, and seem to be of very good quality.

Dang Andy, that came out slick:thumbup: I really like the handle-looks comfortable and secure withought being obtrusive!
