I am going to try making a kydex sheath and want to know what the best way of putting a water port at the base of the sheath is.

I mainly do fold overs with .093 kydex, and in my experience at the very tip there always is a gap perfect for a water drain...

I have not had any experience with kydex but it appears that some makers will set a bolt, pin, etc right at the tip of the knife when molding. And when removed makes a cylindrical hole at the bottom of the sheath. Again, I am not sure if thats how they actually do it, but it sure looks that way from pictures I have seen.
