Today I made this timelapse video of the whole process of drawing a BBQ knife, it took exactly 10 minutes. I've been using Coreldraw since 1992 so I mostly know all the in and outs of it. I shortened it to 2 minutes, but the long version is also uploaded to my Youtube channel.

Enjoy the video.

I very much enjoy watching behind-the-scenes activities so thank you for this.

When you complete the drawing, what happens next?
That is, do you print a black and white photo? Print each layer (handle, blade)? Publish the drawing elsewhere?

In short, what are the benefits to you of the drawing?

Its part of my routine, I have a drawn version of every knife I made to date, all of them.

What happens next, if I plan to make a lot, I go again to Coreldraw and arrange them in the sheet that's going to be cut, I spend a good amount of time in this process, so I can get the most out of the sheet.

If its one of a kind, I also have a vinyl cutter, so I plot the blade, stick it to a piece of steel and profile it. If the shape is simple, I just print it an glue it, but I like vinyl and its less work lol

Its not usual, but some customers want to be involved in the design, so its an easy way to share thoughts via PDF or in person.
