I have always thought the PM 2 blade looked good backwards. So I took it apart and traced it so that the handle is backwards on the blade. Heres what I came up with.

A wharncliffe PM2!

With the PM 2 as popular as it is, I'm don't think Sal would be willing to invest the $$ necessary to make this model.

Spyderco hasn't made very many of warncliffe's that have been very popular as far as I know.

Oh I'm not suggesting that Spyderco should make this. Yeah, it would be cool if they did, and I would probably buy one, but I wouldn't expect them to. I just thought it was funny that the blade shape works both ways and that maybe some other people would get a kick out of seeing it.

I like it, but then again I have a thing for wharnies. Of course the Yojimbo 2 does a very convincing impression of a wharncliffe PM2, so we may not need one.

I'll go on record to say that if a Wharncliffe PM2 ever shows up, I'll buy one for certain. Two if the handle is any color besides black or brown.

Great idea, by the way!

I officially want one.
I want one in a super steel with a blue or CF handle.

Better yet make a while new model with this sort of profile in CF and Ti.

Yojimbo 1 and 2 were giant hits. I don't know about right now but for a long time you couldn't find a Yojimbo 2 to buy anywhere.

As for the drawing, I'd buy it. I'd also buy a wharnie Manix 2, but the edge on that knife is fairly straight as it is.

.

I was kidding about Spyderco making making a warrnie PM2. Not serious at all.

It would be a cool lookin' knife tho.

I never realized the spine on my PM2 was perfectly flat, granted I haven't had it that long. To me, it looked like a slight clip point, but obviously its not.
