To Celebrate our new Retail outlet we will have a drawing to give 2 knives away, and would like everybody to make a suggestion, what they would like to have. And as long as it costs less than 25 cents ( just kidding )

Hello Everybody

I wanted to post a update about BLKW due to some major changes. Shannon Wood had bought the web site from me because I went into the wholesale knife business. Shannon was running the business on a part time basis and it had started doing well and was reaching the point where it needed to be done fulltime, especially with the holiday season coming up. Shannon was not sure about quitting full time employment and making BLKW his sole means of income. After a lot of thought and discussion, my partner offered to buy me out and I had a buyback option on BLKW
so Shannon was more than willing to sell it back to me.

The other change is the opening of a Bayou Lafourche Knife Works retail store in West Monroe, Louisiana. There is about 100' of Glass showcases with more than 1,000 knives on diaplay. After many hours of work, the store is almost ready to open and finishing touches are all that is left to do. I will run the web site out of the store but have not decided on business hours yet (maybe 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. , Mon-Sat or similiar)
The web site and Toll-free number will be transferred hopefully by Tuesday, August 15. The new secure site is ready and will replace the old one after the transfer. I am planning a "Give- Away" after I take over so give me a few days to get things completed and BLKW will be up and running 100 % !

Thank you all,

Roger Claunch

Welcome back Roger! I sure did miss buying those knives from you and gettin' that free cup of coffee and a gallon of gas in the mix. Congratulations, I for one will be waiting for your premier opening.

One of the new SOG's with BG-42 steel would be a pleasant surprise! Good luck, we'll be lookin' at ya!--Dan

Congratulations on both accounts.
To bad Kortrijk, Belgium is rather far away from West Monroe, Louisiane ; i'd love to stop by to visit.

I guess almost everybody would be happy with a Benchmade 940.

Welcome back!! I've missed calling you and placing orders. My wife may not be too thrilled that my LA connection is back in business
Looking forward to doing business with you again. I want to win a Gerber Airframe from you

Welcome back. My friends have bought some Kershaw Black Outs from you. They were impressed with your prices and service. I know I will be too in the future. I personally would like to see a Microtech LCC/MA given away. The MA version so it can be shipped to any state. This knife is really gonna be hot. I think you would get a lot of response with this one. If not that, than a REKAT Carnivore or Sifu.

I'd have to agree with either the Airframe or the LCC m/a.
Thanks

I have never dealt with you before but good prices and good service are certainly some of the basics for success. Best Wishes.

Welcome back! How about a Fallkniven A-1 with black blade and kydex sheath?

Congratulations, Roger. Good luck to you. Wish you would have been around when I lived in Houma, LA. Plenty of oilfield money to spend on toys back then. Are you carrying Microtech products? Maybe a new SOCOM Elite or LCC?

Richard

we will carry and have Microtech on display
at the store, but don't have any of the new ones yet but we will be ordering them.

Roger

Roger, I would also like to welcome you back. You will have to post directions to the new store, so I can stop by the next time I am in the Monroe area. On second thought , it would probably be worth it to make a special knife run up that way.

as soon as I load the new site, I will have pictures of the location and a map on line,
having a problem with the software hopefully we can have it fix today an I will load everything tonight

Thanks
Roger
