Hello Friends!!
I wanna present to you a recently work, named ´´Dream´´.
I put this name, when i tested the edge for the first time... i thought so much about the professional who will use this knife for many hours, give him handle confort and edge durability.
This is a cheff knife model, integral construction, twisted damascus steel, 120 lines , 1070 x 15n20 steel.
To the handle , i used a stabilized maple burl .
dimensions:
Blade length, 253 mm
Total length, 384 mm
Maximum thickness of the back, 2,8 mm
Maximum blade width, 58mm
The sheath is cow leather.
I hope you like, comments are really welcome!
Best regards,
Franco.

That is just super nice. I love the configuration of the bolster and heel, subtle and a bit tricky! That handle wood is dynamite, too.

Hello friends,
Thank you very much: mr.Straub, mr.Todd and mr. Kris!
Best regards,
Franco.

What can I say? It's a masterpiece! Definitely a job well done.
Question: was it forged to shape? I'm guessing it was because of the way the pattern "distorts"/changes at the tip.

Matthew.

Hello my friend Matthew,
Thank you for your compliment... i really apreciated!
Yes, i ever try to finish the blade on the forge( i love forge..huahuahuahua). this distortion is because the movement of the billet turning, round to flat and forming the tip...
Best regards,
Franco.

I bet that little lady is a real Dream to use. A good friend of mine is a Chef, and I know what a good knife is worth. Beautiful work.

Good morning mr Daniel, thank you for your comment!
Cooking becomes easier when you have a knife designed for the activity .. small weight, balance, fluidity and good cutting power .. I love to cook !!
Best regards,
Franco.

Ahh nice. Well I will have to admit myself that my favorite part of making a knife is probably the forging part of it, haha.

Thank you mr. HJK, yeahh...you captured the idea!!

All the best my friends!!!
Franco.
