I figure a bit if input to a handmade knife maker on what people may be interested in is never a bad thing though I won't get my hopes up, but if you were to have a dream EDC knife what would it be? You can pick a design he already has or suggest an idea, I figure to keep it a bit organized we focus on an Every Day Carry

For me it would be a ⅛" stock O1 tool blade 2 ¾" long with a true sheepsfoot style blade and a meaty 3 ½" handle on light tan or green canvas Micarta scales. Two stainless pins and a third stainless tube for a lanyard but I never actually use a lanyard do that wouldn't be a big deal if it was another stainless pin. Convex grind, and a Fletcher knife logo stamped in so that when I hand it down to my son he will still know who made it.

Reason, for me an EDC us an around the house type if knife, I am not a hunter and the Sheepsfoot for me works awesome for breaking open boxes cutting into things and everyday chores (I just moved plus a baby coming Today!! So I have busted up a lot if boxes built all the baby furniture cut tag out if clothes etc) if I am working outside doing heavier stuff I would jump up a size but for the majority it would be a small bladed EDC I would like.

Who is next? LOL

I just got a Fiddleback hiking buddy and its perfect for me. I like smaller knives, I do a lot of hiking has easily kicked my Busse AMS off my belt.

I do have a AK-1 Minor on order from Damon that is almost the exact same size. I'm sure it will give the hiking buddy a run for its money.

I would love to try out a Pro 6-5, that knife looks like it would fit right into the rotation with those two.

I am currently purchasing a Pro 6-5 from www.USAMadeBlade.com and am looking very forward to using it as my EDC. Chatted with Whitty and Dylan and am quite excited to get a well made EDC to use. I prefer sub 3" blades for my normal use I have tried carrying larger knives but they just feel too bulky and too large for the mundane tasks I use it for on an average day. I also just purchased a Fiddleback Woodchuck for the larger tasks and hiking and outdoors stuff but around the house and around the yard the Pro 6-5 will be on my hip at all times

The pro 6-5 is just perfection to me when it comes to an EDC fixed blade. It fits nicely in the pocket, is easy to use paracord to attach anywhere on the belt and it fits perfect in my hands. I have passed this knife off to people of all sizes and they all say that it just feels like it is meant to be used. I have used the Pro 6-5 for hours in wet conditions and have not even noticed a hot spot forming. I wish I could explain it better but I truly love this little knife! Just wish I could get my hands on more of them to sell! Hint Hint Dylan!
