Hey Dan -- for what it's worth, I think that you should seriously consider a future limited run of 1/8" thick, scandi-grind Nessys' in S90V.

These would be wicked slicers that would skin/chop/slice for a VERY long time between sharpenings. The toughness, non-corrosiveness, and extreme abrasion-resistance of S90V would make for a great lightweight all-around woods knife.

So, if you might someday be willing, please put me down for the 1st one in BCM.

Any one esle like this idea???

I have considered doing a "premium" run of the Bushcraft knives - will definitely consider S90V. I'm torn as to do 1/8" or 3/32". We'll see....

The blades will also have a hand-rubbed satin finish on the blade flats, with a 1000 grit finish on the bevel for ultimate paper-slicing sharpness. :D

Probably will be offered only in premium handle materials like carbon fiber and/or fibermascus....maybe Ironwood.

And the run will be limited (20-30 pieces max).

Thanks for the suggestion.

Dan

FWIW, I'd be up for one in thin (1/8" or 3/32") CPM M4 as well....but I'm really on a S90V kick right now.

CPM 3V and S90V have become my favorite steels -- 3V for all around use, S90V for when a stainless steel is desirable. M4 has my attention --- we'll have to see. I'd snap up a knife in it right now, though...
