I got this glorious Spartan Folder yesterday from Raphael Durand, thanks to my Brother Sam Lurquin with additional kudos going to Brother Joe Paranee for introducing me to such a wonderful group of Makers over the years.
Mrs. Durand made the superb, fully lined, Sharkskin sheath, and Sam forged the high-layer Damascus billet for the blade. It's a linerless lockback, 5" closed, 8 3/4" OAL, with a 3 3/4" blade. Stellar craftsmanship accentuated by incredible detail....file-worked fasteners, thumb-disc,and lock-release, along with domed pins, and exceptional handle sculpting. The grinds, fit, finish, lock-up, action, etc., are virtual perfection,, too.
Just a slight Family Resemblance?
