So I recently decided to get myself a Dremel tool to try out an idea I had seen on this forum. I think it turned out "alright". Of course I am no pro, but hey I figured this was decent for a first try.

So the question/request I have for all you Buck lovers, is if I could get some photos of your customized 110's using similar tools? I would like to see what other designs I could try out.

I would ditch the dremel for that and use a file...:)

* from a guy that has screwed up a few things with his many dremels over the years*
:D

I've seen similar styles used on David Yellowhorse knives and he's told me he uses a file. Nice work. DM

Yah, it was hard to keep it on track. The few nicks you see were not from the dremel though. Those were just the hazards of my use:)

I think David Yellowhorse was the one I got the idea from. I think I will have to head out of my tiny town to find some fine work files. The Lowes and such down here only had the massive ones.

Hi Kim,

Here are a few shots of some bolster art. Two are from the Yellowhorse clan and the top 112 in the stand has file work kinda like yours, but much deeper from and unknown maker. hope these give you an idea for your next bolster art project!

Those are nice! I like the 112 file work and the dimpled pattern looks like something I may be able to reproduce.
