Thanks for looking!

WOW! All sorts of sexsay curves going on there! Great looking whole package: love the blade profile, pattern, guard, handle... everything.

Mongo you took the word right out of my mouth. WOW. I absolutely love the Brend influence in the design!

I like that piece a lot. Only thing I'd have a comment about is that it almost seems that a "balancing" pin to the rear of the handle would be good visually.

If that handles as good as it looks, you really have a winner there. Beautiful!

The steel is super. I have to ask, what is aluminium bronze?

I can't say for sure, but I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that it's an alloy composed of aluminium and bronze. :p;)

I've had it as an accent spacer on a knife guard before - just can't remember which, at present.

Very nice work Phillip!

Roger got it right, pretty much. It's bronze, with some of the tin replaced with aluminum. It also has some iron in it, which most bronzes don't. It's much more tarnish resistant than brass, and has a really pretty gold hue to it. The only thing I don't like about it is, it's a real pain to file.

And what was the name of Abraham Lincoln's wife? Answer, Mrs. Lincoln. :foot:

Roger, I am sending you to detention! ;)
