Sometimes a knife just kind of designs itself as It comes along, this was one of those knives. The design actually started life as a paring knife, but the further I got with it the more it turned into a little hunter. I gave it a classic loveless style handle, with green micarta, red liners and a tapered tang.
The blade is .125" L6 with a hand rubbed finish. It fits oh so nicely in the hand, and is nicely balanced with the tapered tang.
Anyway, I am pretty pleased with the little guy.
Any comments are welcome, thanks for looking!

I like it! Very clean design. Nice lines and looks like a great little slicer.

Awesome I really like the work you did on the handle. The tapered tang and enough swell to hold on to.

Thanks very much guys!

I wouldn't call it dressed up, but would call it a fine and functional B&T. Nice work.:thumbup:

The tapered tang adds a bit of flair, as do the liners, but generally, I think to collectors like Kevin and myself, bolsters, damascus and fancy filework all comprise "dressed up".

I should have said, dressed up for one of my working knives. :D
Most of my knives like this have a forge finish.
You guys are correct though, nothing fancy, just a cleaner look.
