Dressed Up Steel Heart

Here are some pics of RonyBear's customized Steel Heart. He had it customized by another knife maker after he got it from Busse. It has a satin finish, fancy engraved bolsters, mammoth ivory scales (IIRC), and mosaic pins. I thought some of you guys might like to see it. It's a beauty!

BTW, these customizations really get me thinking. I wonder if I could find some knife maker that would make a SJ fold ...........

If I remember correctly wasn't there a kickass Kenny Rowe sheath that was made for that dressed up steel heart? Does anyone have the picture of them together? The two together was absolutely beautiful....

Andrew, I love that knife. It is the centerpiece of my Busse Collection. I am bringing the new brother to that Mammoth Steel Heart to the Blade Show. It is a new one that is a Mr. Mojo with Mammoth Scales and Damascus Bolsters and Satin Polished. It is equally gorgeous. Reese Weiland did the handle work and of course knife by Jerry Busse. Reese also made me a matching Damascus piece to use on a sheath for a Bolo. I recently moved, so I'm not set up for photos yet, but for those not going to Blade, I will put in some photos after the show, if I don't sell or trade it.
