Got a bit bored at school (not in class ;)) so drew some thing up in emerson style,
Bladewith 1"
Cutting edge 3.85"
Blade Lenght 3.9"

Handle overal 4.98"
Handle gripping space 4.11"

Any opinions?

Looks good to me, I like the blade shape

If I wanted to be super critical I would say you have an extra screw that you don't want at the but that would be
better placed along the spine. You also need more handle infront of the pivot (or move the pivot back). That's
also a nice big fat blade so you may want a wider/deeper handle for it ;)

Any hoo, I can't wait for it to come out :p

it will probably never come out, just something to pass time a bit

i'll try to change some things about it
Thx for the great responses :D

the screw on the but is for some extra strenght on the back, the blade misses that screw,

the pivot is something i've already thought of, needs some handle mods if i place it back but will do it :D
I think that screw at the but will be gone with the pivot moved back:rolleyes:

also i still need a bladestop :p

Now you'er thinking properly :p:thumbup:

The only problem with the screw being there is you will need to make the back spacer cover it. You really don't
need "extra" strength in that spot so it's kind of solving a problem you don't have. Simple is always better.

The pivot would need to have more handle infront of it to help cover the blade tang when the knife is closed.
It will stick out and could be damaged, make the knife uncomfortable to carry and/or not look the best either.
I'm going to go right a head and presume it's a frame lock so if you imagine where the lock is, that will be the
room you need on either side of the pivot.

If EKI makes that knife, I'll faint! EKI wouldn't even do a Scandi grind on my CQC-7.
Good luck though!!

I like it, kinda reminds me of a knife I've been wanting EKI to produce, a super 7a. Looks good.

Not that it needs to be said, but I really dig that blade shape. If I were going to make some sort of change, I'd try to tweak the handle so that it was more comfortable in a reverse grip.
But, damn, dude. That's pretty slick.

So ive placed the pivot back and got my screws sorted out :p

now i don't like the front of the handle so i still need to tweak it a bit more :p
Here's what i've got now :D

looks great, I myself woudl like to see a bit more arch in the handle, just nice and subtle

Love the blade, not so much the handle. As others have pointed out, some additional curvature would be welcome. Great effort though.
