Drill bit advice.

Lets say that someone forgot to drill a hole in a piece of steel and went ahead and heat treated/tempered it. Can you suggest a drill bit that will cut through hardened steel? Really it's my friend that wants to know...I would never do anything like that.

use straight flute carbide drills for hard steels they are stronger and last longer
