Joe - I figured the shipping to be around $50 for both (shipped separately).

Does that sound right to you?

Any chance of opening the drill press box and putting the bits inside?

If not, go ahead.

BTW, I'm not in an awful hurry for this, so if a slower (cheaper) shipping method is available, it's fine with me.

That's the slowest and cheapest - both UPS and USPS more.

Also, believe it or not, they have done a mighty fine job of packing as much as possible into the drill press box. It's way too tight for the bits.

That's why I want to confirm the shipping with you first.

Yes, I'll let you know. Won't go sooner than Monday. More like Tuesday or Wednesday. Hope you don't mind, but it's not everyday I get a break to lug 73 lbs down to the Fed Ex counter...:rolleyes:
