I was walking at the flea-market today and I found this drill-press for ten dollars .. There is a couple of bugs to work out but the motor runs good . Has anyone here heard of a Westcraft a western auto brand the model # is 8085.Any help would be great.

I had one of those YEARS ago.Worked fine.The head arm on the post has to be locked down tight.Belt tension was set by loostening the set bolts slipping a piece of wood or steel between the motor and post,pulling tight,and snugging the bolts while maintaining the pressure.Hey,all you want it to do is drill holes - who needs fancy?

Cool do you have any idea how old it is?

I got mine used somewhere between 1960 and 1970 I think.
