drill size chart?

Ive tried the search function with no luck. Anyone direct me to a chart with drill sizes. Hope this isnt to vague.I have some 1/4 pinstock , do I just drill a1/4 in. hole for it or go a little larger?? Thanks!!!

If your drill bit is in good condition it should drill close enough to 1/4". You do not want it too big.
Better you drill a pilot hole first though with maybe 3/16 and use some oil with the final hole.
A reamer would be the best for a snug fit.

When I drill 1/4" holes for a handle I use an F drill bit. It's a little bigger and prevents getting stuck.
