Drilling a lanyard hole?

Hullo guys. I've converted and bought a buck 560 and put a one arm bandit. Well actually this is my second buck knife. The first was a three bladed stockman that was also my very first knife. The 560 is great, what is the steel and its RC anyway?
Ok now to my main question: Is it safe to drill a lanyard hole in this bad boy?

If you mean the steel in the blade, it is the standard buck 420HC. As for the handle, that would be titanium. I have one and wondered about putting a clip put on and was told by someone in the forums that they had done it. So if you have the skills go for it. Where exactly on the handle do you want to drill?

I know it can be done, but it better by done by someone familiar with the knife. This kind of work will void the warrantee though so keep that in mind.
We have gotten a few 110's in here at Buck over the years and an attempt at a lanyard hole ruined the action of the knife.

Thanks. Wanted to make turn it into a buckbenza project. Maybe i'll ask PCKS when i ship the knife to have a bg42 blade put on it.
