Mammoth ivory. Drilling for pins,,, best bits?? . Also what type of finished hole reamer. ?? ( an old Lovelace ) vid I saw him ream after drilling… will also be drilling mammoth teeth… is one more brittle than the other?? Any tips on drilling ??? And is sanding required any thing special???

Make sure the OD of the countersink is bigger than the drill. The goal is a non-sudden transition. It doesn't have to be a lot bigger.
Thanks. All good advice. Fossils should be here this week. Looking forward to this material in handles.
