i got a kershaw pack rat and absolutely love it, and am wanting a JYD 2 and skyline as well. only prob is im a lefty, so i was wondering how hard it would be to drill and tap it for left had carry? i have a drill press, so thats covered. anyone know what size and where to get a tap that small? thanks for any info.

One of those lowrider clips from knifekits would look awesome on a JYD II CB. :D

i just did a modification on my leek requiring redrill and tap. i couldn't find the original size tap, so i ended going up to 7/64" screws. I used a bosch cobalt bit + drill press @ 360 rpm. went through like butter. Tapping consisted of putting the scale in a vice and grabbing the tap with some vice grips.

awesome, thanks everybody for the links. your right, if i get the jyd, that clip has got to GO. the clips you linked are way more tasteful.

I thought lefties just had to learn to live in a righty world.

Seriously though, if you have a variable speed drill press try to use the same set-up to drill and tap the same hole.

On a thin material, use the finest threads you can find.
