Hello busse lovers of all shapes and sizes and people, and "whatever pronouns you identify with" folks. I have decided to come off the shelf as it were and post a post.

Currently sick with some kind of sinus garbage and decided that alcohol was the best medicine. Possibly a mistake with the other medications....I'm now currently slightly inebriated.

Any who, I thought I would tell about my current life adventures while slightly intoxicated and in a sharing mood.

As many of you are aware I recently sold many...waaaaay too many of my bussekin going through a divorce....while not "ugly". It was still the best 50,000 dollars I ever spent! That started during the pandemic and concluded about two years ago.

I was in a bad state with my ex wife prior to the divorce, she had become an intolerable drunkard, and a serial cheater to boot.

Fortunately, I was able to have the wonderful opportunity to start seeing a good friend of mine, who I fell for, totally and completely!

She's the best lady ever (IMHO), a country gal, and from a little town not too far south of busse land (middle Indiana). Interesting enough she also is a Bama fan, and was so even before moving to our lovely state almost 20 years ago!

I was lucky enough to convince her to get married to me last year, and even though we have had a few ups and downs we are a strong and wonderful couple.

I miss the knives, but the trade off was sooooo worth it, as My wife is awesome and amazing and the love of my life!


I might be a little more than "slightly" intoxicated...I'm blaming the sinus medicine.

Anyway, I'm really wanting to get back to knife buying a little, as well as my gun habit.

Oh, and I bought my first house too! Almost forgot that part.

Anyway, let's drink and happy Easter!!!

I feel you, brother! I had to sell the entirely of my collection (knives and guns), about 11 years ago, to pay lawyer fees for a divorce.... She was a cheater-cheater-pumpkin-eater, as well.... I have gotten a decent collection of INFI now, and more pew-pews and ammo than before... It's the comebacks that count!

I may or may not have one of your INFI Rats. Maybe, maybe not. I can't exactly recall.

This was a Hammered forged bull barrel I had Custom ordered
The Folding stock is from the 80’s and no longer available.
It took me years to build…

That's very cool; unfortunate for me haha, but cool nonetheless. You did a great job on that.
 
Congratulations in finding someone awesome! Sorry you had to go through a “rough patch” to get there, but hey, makes you appreciate who you have now that much more, right?
