Hey old man :D

It has been HOT here and I went out for just a one hour ride and lost three pounds.

So my question is:

How much do I need to drink tonight?

.

While I am currently unable to channel OldPhysics, I can tell you that our home thermometer read 106 degrees when I got home, and it is currently reading 101. I started up our pool this morning, anticipating a need for it this evening, after dinner. Some form of alcoholic beverage will be in proximity to the pool, to be sure.

Hey I’m surprised you don’t have a prairie dog mural on the bottom of your pool. :D :D

While this obviously won't satisfy, my dad put together a "Euro Mount" using prairie dog skulls:

That depends on how much of the 3 lbs you want to replace....

3 lbs = 1.361 kg
1.361 kg = 1361 ml

So one bottle (750ml) would replace a bit over half of what you lost. I'd say be safe and drink two bottles.

Ken, is that going into the office at work?

The trick is to replenish it slowly, get you a half gallon ( 3.8 lbs.) of fine brown liquor like Rebel Yell and keep sippin' until you think Angelina Jolie is pouring you shots and sharpening your FBM CG topless.

This should help you work it out.

It should also get OP dancing up and down and waving his hands violently in indignation. ;) :D

Naahh...he'll need more than that!!

Tony will continue to respire ... so he needs more to replace what he's breathing out.

I'd say about 2.5 full 'fifths' would do it.

Assuming he can avoid any trips to the bathroom!! Alcohol is such a diuretic.

Sorry I wasn't there for you last night. Took the red-eye back home, then right into second daughter's graduation. Returned home, fell onto bed, slept for 10 hours. Boy, getting old sucks!!

OH! And I refuse to be indignant. I just fail to see what our Southern Mathematician's algorithm has to do with re-hydration.

I probably shouldn't try for humour content after drinking red wine, it rarely works.

Anyway, getting indignant now and then is good for old buggers like us, gets the blood flowing. :)

We'll keep it Southron and Busse.

No, I did not misspell Southron.

Darn straight it does!!

Why ... I feel better. Hours later, still better. I might just go for a walk or something. :D

Hmm. Perhaps I should follow the philosophy of the Glorious Beacon of Light a bit more closely.

No algorithms tonight. I'm gonna go chop something. Hard. ;)
