I did search first but I apologize if this has been covered before. I know this movie probably wasn't very popular, as it went straight to video, but I caught it on TV the other night and it wasn't terrible.

There was a decent amount of knife content so I'm surprised that I couldn't find a thread about it.

I'm 95% sure that I saw a Kershaw Spec Bump and an Offset. I'll try to get screenshots up soon.

Has anybody else seen this?

Wow, 100 views and 0 replies. I guess it's true that threads really are worthless without pics :p

Not surprising really, considering that Segal has collaborated with Kershaw before.

Caught an older movie on TV last night called 'Twisted' starring Ashley Judd and Samuel Jackson. Not a good knife movie but it does have one scene with a guy holding the old model Sog Pentagon to Judd's throat. I have the new model Pentagon ,which is probably stronger because the blade is wider, but the old one definitely looks dangerous. The old one also came with a kydex sheath instead of the canvas molle compatible sheath the new comes with. Hey Sog! the Pentagon's a city knife you boneheads, not a military knife. Why did you have to ruin a good thing?

They seemed to end up like this with every model they have. On top of that, they uglified their handles with awful SOG stamps (look, it's a SOG knife, look look!) and steal designs instead of buying new ones. And the sheath, they just want to go cheap and affordable way. I bet it is as usable as the fällkniven garm sheath that is "best sheath there can be" according to the guy who replied to me from fäll...

Tactical gone wrong, bad.

sog sheaths are marginal but my spec elite, pentagon elite & team leader in duratech 20v perform up there with my spydies & b.m.s,. viseral adjectives really do'nt give an objective observation of a products performance.thanks

I really only ment to criticize the new Pentagon sheath. I actually like Sog, including the Pentagon, mini Pentagon, and their two 5" blade folders utilizing the pentagon handle shape, as well as several others. When I get the chance I'm getting one of their Brent Bashara designed Swedge knives which looks like a new take on small fixed blades.
When I called the Sog staff "boneheads" it was more or less an affectionate dig, rather than an expression of hostility. In fact I always weigh in , in support of Sog ,whenever there's a thread trying to tear down Sog as a brand.
