WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!, I love feather pattern damascus and I saw that sycomore at burl source but had no idea it would look that great! That is one for the photo album. You could not get a better match with the feather pattern in the wood and on the blade, it is like they were made for each other.:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

I was very choosy when it came to the wood on this one i wanted it to all flow together
 
Feather Pattern is by far the best looking Damascus Pattern I've ever owned!! I have two knives made from the Damascus feather pattern and they are near my favorite looking knives! Somebody is going to be a very happy owner!

WOW, I've been waiting for something in that sickamore. Awesome. Tanto, swedge, sickamore with that handle shape. That's my dream. You must hide that sickamore somewhere, and every once in a while peek at it!

I've never seen feather pattern damascus before. Thats just unreal! As always Bill you knocked that one
out of the park!!!

Finally! Bill really screwed up picking the blade part of the giveaway knife. Im going to beat the hell out of it with a hammer when I get it to turn it into a user! Might even use MDF and lauan as handle material.

Guys, take it from experience, if your night time limit of beer is 3 bottles, & you have had 5 or 6, do not look at that damn Damascus so-called feather pattern at 2:30am in the morning . . . . . it's really cool watching those swirls twist toward the center, join each other, and move up the blade towards the handle, if you watch it long enough . . . . . ;)
(damn, I have got to get my tolerances built up more) . . . .
