Drop forged kukri ?

Wouldn't a kukri be a good addition to the drop forged line ?
Due to the one piece drop forging process it would have the strength, plus it could have the basic convex edge and the hollow forged blade straight from the forge.
The differential heat treat could be done with an induction coil. like in this YouTube clip:


I do think however that the handle would need some dampening inlays or even a full Micarta or hard rubber overmould.
What do you guys think ?

Not necessarily, as due to the hollow forging you can shave off quite a bit of weight.
My Tora Camping kukri measures 17.32 inches (44 cm) overall, and has a 12.59 inch (32 cm) blade which is at maximum 7.46 mm thick.
It only weighs 529 grams due to the hollow forged blade, and i would consider it quite nimble.
Bought it in 2009 and it is in use to this very day, mostly for trail clearing in the woods around my home town:
