Drop in led for E2E

if it was me i would get one of the 2 LED replacement heads SF offers, the KL1 & KL4 IIRC, the KL1 is IIRC 35 lumens and the KL4 is 100, the only con is price, the KL1 is ~ $50 and the KL4 is ~$100 MSRP, ya can look around and find them cheaper though. IIRC lighthound also has replacement heads by another maker which are a bit cheaper. i put a KL4 on my E2e and a KL1 on my E1e, and have always liked 'em a lot.

i would imagine lighthound has drop ins too though and that would also be cool, i havent used one on my E series lites though, i did put a LED replacemnt in my Z3, which i did get from lighthound, and its worked great, i dont remember the make/model though, its been several yrs ago. it extended the batt life but i dont think its as bright as the std incan.

Some time back I was looking for a drop-in for an E2. Didn't find a direct drop-in but did come across a Valiant Concepts - Malkoff Devices (VME) head. With the new head you could then use any of the Malkoff M60 drop-ins. Depending on the drop-in you could have a 235+ lumen pocket rocket or 80+ lumens for 8 hours or something in-between.
Stay Safe,
Clyde
