I am now making drop-loop kydex sheaths for the Bushcraft knife.

If you have a 2009 version and don't mind "fine-tuning" the fit once you get it, I don't need your knife. Otherwise, if you want a perfect fit, I'll need your Bushcraft knife.

Should you decide to want to use it horizontally (cross-draw) or canted on your belt, the holes are drilled for use with a TekLok - just like the rest of my sheaths.

Pricing is $45

Thanks for looking!

I need to figure it out first - but yes, I would like to.

The problem is the hump in the blade will make drawing it 'pouch style' a bit of a challenge.

I'll probably make a "dummy" and then use that to make the sheath...custom-fitting it for the knife handle individually.

Yes - 3 layers of 0.060" kydex works out to the same thickness as 2 layers of 0.090" thick kydex - if you have any sheaths made from that thickness.

Right now, I am using 0.060" or 0.080" thick kydex for my sheaths - depending on the size of the knife and the sheath design.

Hi Dan, they look great!
Would you be able to make a drop-loop attachment for those of us who already have the kydex sheath?

It's kind of a 2-step-all-at-once process.

I heat up the pieces in the oven, pull out the longer one to make the loop with a jig I have set up, then put the knife over it and put the last piece on top. Then the whole thing goes in a press to get the "squeeze". :D

Had I known you were going to make these I wouldn't spent $300 on all that Kydex sheath making stuff!-LOL But of course now I can now make a Bushmaster sheath an Olympic gymnast can compete in! In matching red-white and blue colors of course!

Are these sheaths different from the kydex sheaths that you offer for the Bushmasters? This is a design that I like.
... Can I have one made for the B.M.?

I will also be offering a drop-loop for the BushMaster - just haven't made one yet...so I don't know on pricing.

Dan

Thank's for offering this one for the Bushmasters. When you work things out... SOLD!!!
Put me down for one. :)
