Drop point hunter/utility

Here's my latest. A light weight hunter made from 1/8" 1080. Nice and light, comfy in the hand and definitely a user. I stuck with the chisel grind even though my confidence level has gone up a lot now that I'm using Mr. Rowe's bubble jig. A dully scotchbrite finish and the cordwrap handle finish off the "user" design.

I originally planned scales, thus the large ricasso, but after doing the wrap for testing I decided that light and simple was the way to go. It's not a chopper, it's not a heavy duty field knife, it's a light and thin one and the thin and simple wrap seemed appropriate. I'm tempted to do another with a set of thin scales.
