Hi all some of you know me from other forums, I have been a member here for awhile now but have not posted much of my work so I would like to take this time to reintroduce myself.

I am a full time farrier and I got started making knives a few years ago when I was injured on the job. Well I really enjoy making knives so you guys will see a lot of me.

Here is one I recently finished,

Blade is ATS-34 and is hand rubbed to 800 grit, stainless steel bolsters. Scales are stabilized redwood burl with stainless steel pins and thong tube.

Blade length is 4 3/4" tip to guard, blade width is 1 1/4" and is 5/32" thick, handle is 4 3/4" overall length is 9 1/2"

Custom Sheath by Sally Martin.

Thanks for all the compliments guys :D glad you like it.

Jason nice to see you here was nice meeting you at the OKCA Eugene show, so when are you coming over to beat some steel ;)?

Dave the wood you got from me at the show came from the same burl as this, I know your going to love it :D.

I am hoping to have some free time after this week. I would love to come over and pound some steel into submission. I'll call you in the next couple of days and we can figure out our schedules. I can't wait to try out that power hammer :D

Very nice. Lots of Loveless influence there, which sure isn't a bad thing. Beautiful wood too.
