Looks good. What is epey? I know of a wood by the name of ipe, is it the same thing?

Thurstan, Nice work! I just acquired about 30 rasps. Free steel,and it makes unique knives. Handle looks like Ipe, I rehandled a old Western with some. I didn't stabilize it, works like Desert Ironwood
