Dropped Edge Options?

I'm a big fan of dropped edges (e.g. Trace Rinaldi's TTKK). What are the other production options, if any?

The discontinued Spyderco Perrin Bowie and the Strider EB are close.

I'd be particularly interested in a dropped edge, TTKK shaped blade with a full-flat grind and convex edge or a scandinavian grind and a tapered full tang, but I'm sure that would be an expensive custom knife.

Do you mean drop "point"?

I have a Helle Eggen, drop point, Scandinavian grind that sort of meets your description... Doesn't have a tapered full tang but I think it's tough enough. Nice hand-filling Arctic birch handle, very light weight overall, laminated blade (stainless side panels, probably 420J, high carbon core.

No. I mean a dropped edge - like a chef's knife - where the edge is below your index finger when using the hammer grip with the edge down. Like this:

Roselli's kitchen knives are the closest thing I've found, but they are too thin and hard for hard use, IMO.

Ah, I see what you mean. Very useful design. Russell belt knives made in Canada have an offset handle that works similarly, while keeping a slim profile. I think Steven Dick of Tactical Knives designed a knife with a dropped edge that looked very useful. I have a Bark River Woodland, part of their Professional line, an elegant design that works to make tghe whole edge usable like a dropped edge. My venerable Blackjack Campanion (predecessor to the Becker design made by Camillus) has a dropped edge. I'm sure there are more.

Thanks. I hadn't thought of the Grohmann R4S. It's not quite what I had in mind, but it's functionally similar.
