so my wife knocked my 0560 off the table and it landed just right opening next to her foot, luckily, no injury. She accused me of leaving it OPEN on the table but I denied it. So, to prove me wrong, she closes the knife then drops it again. To my amazement it popped right back open! Now that is a smooth opener. . . . just don't drop this beast. .. . .it may open and try to bite ya!

You dropped your 0560 twice? I'd be pretty pissed if my girlfriend purposely dropped any of my knives.

I dont think any girl would recognize the value of those folder just like man. And if you bother told her it price, be reserved your room in the hospital :D

you know I have been married almost 40 years and back in the day you needed "grounds for Divorce " pretty sure that would have qualified :D

I kept my 0301 in a jacket pocket while I wasn't wearing it. Of course I wasn't careful while carrying the jacket in my arms, and it fell out and struck pavement. Picked it up, got past the initial shock, shrugged and figured it was a user and a keeper.

Just out of curiosity I dropped mine (on the carpet) from about 5' high, eight times, and it managed to pop open only three. It has to hit just on the side to cause enough vibration to knock the blade loose form the detent. I tried dropping it on the spine to see if the flipper would pop it open but that didn't work. Granted this is some thick carpet. This is some good info, if I ever inadvertently drop it, I'll be sure to get my feet out of the way.
