Drowning

Very good article Howard. It reminds me of a time I was standing in a wave pool with my oldest when he was only about 4 or so. The wave pool was filled with people. I was standing and holding my son in one arm enjoying the large swells which came by every few seconds. At one point, I looked down, I'm over six foot, and saw a young boy looking at me with the most terrified look I've ever seen. His eyes were wide open and locked onto mine. I quickly realized he was looking at me through water. It appeared he was standing on the bottom not moving at all, just standing. I grabbed him with my free arm and he latched onto me like I was his long lost rich grandpa:D It happened so fast and with no call for help. He could have drowned in the midst of a hundred or more people. I can still see his eyes to this day. No thrashing or yelling, just a look of terror. Thanks for the article.
