Just got her in the mail today and she's sweeeeeet!!! I wanted to put this one in the safe but when I pulled it out of the cardboard I noticed a black mark about 2 inches long on the blade. I think I'll try and buff it out. Anybody have any suggestions on how to do this without ruining the desert finish? If I can't get the mark off I'll just have to make her a user. There is a birch tree in my back yard that has been taunting and teasing me for weeks now. I just might have to go out there and teach it a lesson.:)

Nice pic!

Errrrrr. . . . the 2" long black mark on the blade is what we in the lower 48 call a "logo". . . Geeesh, I had to have this same conversation with SpearHead!;) :D

Congrats! Now go beat that puppy up!

Jerry

nice looking knife mojo, try a little rubbing alcohol with a toothbrush or some 4-0 stillwool and scrub it a lil bit. or maybe some of that goof off then wash the blade in hot soapy water.

I didn't know you were making 'entry tools' Jerry!

Or is that a broken tip I see...

Okay, I will leave now...:p

Nice knife! That pic makes me want to be out there...:(

Well I must say I was a little disappointed when the black mark came right of with some soap, water and a little elbow grease. That means it's going in the safe.:( I guess I'll just have to start saving for a Fusion SH.:)

Safe?!? What the He...:grumpy:

That's it. I'm coming over right now to give that DSH a beating. Safe.... that knife was built for beatings. :D

I hear ya Les but I just can't bring myself to use her looking all pretty like she does. You just might have to come over and put the first mark on her.;)

Point me to that offensive birch!;)

Although... you may want someone else to break in your new queen... rumor has it I'm a little rough.:D

Mojo Jojo,
I'm sure that you don't plan on selling it, so you might as well use it. I'm with Progunner, I would never buy any knife that I don't intend to use.:)

Hi Mojo Jojo,

I think I’m a little with you on that one, it would be a shame to mark it. It’s great, can’t wait for mine.
Btw, what sort of tusks are they, they don’t seem sharp enough to be a pig.
