Hello Lionsteel,
I hope you can help me out on this.
Got myself a second-hand TiSpine and while taking it apart I found all these holes...4 of them!

Two of these hole are obvious. A detent and a pivot hole :-)
But what are those other two for?
I discussed this matter on a new dutch knifeforum (messenplatform.nl) but no results. Someone mentioned this forum..so....here I am. :)
The right-upper side hole is the real detent hole.

The other side of the blade looks like this..

Thanks for an answer.

Jan

My bet would be for positioning in the machining process, kind of like the unnecessary hole in the sebenza 21 handle.

That's what I'am told concerning the left upper hole.
Someone also mentioned that the smallest hole might be a "grease-hole".
Any ideas?

And the answer was :
Ciao,
- One hole is for the pivot
- one is for the retention ball
- one is for the grease
- one is for hold the blade in CNC machine

Best Regards
Gianni Pauletta

Thank you foor watching and input,

Jan

The pivotpin has a screw and is easely pushed out after loosening it.
Is that what you meant?
